The activity of industry visit at factories is one of the solutions to help students have new angle of view of learned theory knowledge at university and know more lessons that can’t be expresses in books. Besides, experience from reality trip give students confidence of knowledge of trained field, help students to assimilate quickly to working environment after graduation.

In Faculty of Food Science and Technology, the organization of industry visit is always in the study plan carried out for each class through industry visit subject. According to that, the subject of “industry visit” equips students the method of applying and analyzing basic and professional knowledge in food industry field, to assure food safety to explain problems at food enterprises. Meanwhile, this subject contribute in building skill of reality approach, visualization, noting, summarizing, reporting, keeping discipline, honesty, responsibility, learning positively, skills of working independently and in team, applying learned knowledge and comparing with reality knowledge at food production enterprises.

In the framework of activity of supporting students in the subject of industry visit, the Faculty of Food Science and Technology associate with prestigious enterprises in food field to organize industry visit for thousands turns of students in each semester. From school year of 2014-2015 up to now, the Faculty of Food Science and Technology have been sent 8000 turns of students to visit 1 analysis center and 7 production factories with large scale, prestige in food field. In each visit, students have chances to learn visually, actually about the development of enterprises, food production process of food products at industry scale and modern technology of factories. Besides, students have chances to discuss with companies’ representative about product relating matters as well as steps in production process, marketing activity, market development. Industry visit trips have important meaning to help student learn theory knowledge more effectively, give students close-up view of real environment in the future.
