FST winning the third prize of the contest "Students with the Startup ideas 2022" organized by Nguyen Tat Thanh University

The contest "Students with Startup Ideas in 2022" - with the Theme "Challenge of Creative Startups for Smart City 2022" was organized by the Center for Innovation and Startup Incubation Nguyen Tat Thanh University in collaboration with the Student Culture House In Ho Chi Minh City, along with the companionship of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City.

The contest was held from May 19, 2022 to July 3, 2022, attracting 55 projects of nearly 300 students from 22 universities and colleges with many creative and interesting ideas. After two preliminary rounds and semi-finals, the Judge Board selected the best 18 teams to compete in the Final round.

Recently, the HASE Avocado-Coconut Ice Cream team of students from the Faculty of Food Sciece and Technology - FST (including: Nguyen Thi Xuan Thuy - 10DHTP2 and Tran Thi Thao Tien - 10DHTP12) combined with the Faculty of Finance and Accounting (including: : Nguyen Thi Anh Thu - 10DHNH3; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lin - 10DHNH3; Tran Phuong An - 10DHNH3), Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry under the supervision of Dr. Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong and MSc. Vo Thi Thuy Hang has excellently entered the final round and won the third prize in the contest with a cash prize of 5,000,000 VND.

The final round was organized at 7:30,18/9/2022 in the Hall A801, 300A Nguyen Tat Thanh St., Ward 13, District 4, HCMC with more than 400 deligates and 18 contestant teams from different universities.

The "HASE Avocado-Coconut Ice Cream" product was specially interested by the Judge Board, enterprises, and deligates attending the final round of the contest.

HASE Avocado-Coconut Ice Cream is a harmonious combination of Avocado and Coconut, two rich sources of nutrients and bioactive ingredients including: lipids, vitamin E, carotenoids, vitamins and minerals. Unlike other ice creams in the market with additional ingredients such as jam, coconut milk, cream,  the fresh fruit flesh in HASE Avocado-Coconut Ice Cream is 4-5 times higher than other products, not only bringing high nutritional values but also creating excellently delightful taste. A special feature in HASE Avocado-Coconut Ice Cream technology is the use of microwaves to prevent browning and preserve avocado, helping stabilize and preserve the quality of ingredients all year round.

HASE Avocado-Coconut Ice Cream is a new type of ice cream in the market, offering customers ice cream with high nutritional value and delicious taste.
