Memorandum of understanding signing ceremony of collaboration on research and technology transfer between the Faculty of Food Science and Technology and Sgreen company limited

Recently, on August 12th, 2023, at the office of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology (FST), Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT), a signing ceremony for "Research and Technology Transfer Cooperation between the Faculty of Food Science and Technology and SGREEN Co. Ltd." was conducted. This signing ceremony marked a new milestone in the ongoing development partnership between the FST - HUIT and the company for future goals from the both sides.

 

The Faculty of Food Science and Technology welcomed the presence of representatives from SGREEN Co. Ltd., including:

 

- Ms. Ta Huyen Ngan, President

- Mr. Dang Danh Bang, CEO

Ms. Ta Huyen Ngan and Mr. Dang Danh Bang, representatives of SGREEN Co. Ltd., visited and signed the MoU with the Faculty of Food Science and Technology

 

As for the Faculty of Food Science and Technology, the Board of Deans was also present early to welcome delegates from SGREEN Co. Ltd.:

 

- MSc. Nguyen Thi Thao Minh – Lecturer, Vice-dean of the FST

- MSc. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen - Lecturer, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of FST, along with other lecturers from FST.

 

During the ceremony, the Faculty of Food Science and Technology and representatives from SGREEN Co. Ltd. analyzed the new product line in terms of ingredients and properties during the preservation process to ensure quality when commercialized on the market. The representatives of the two sides agreed on the terms to sign a research and technology transfer contract for the new product line from SGREEN’s honey ingredients.

In particular, the company’s products prioritize health and happiness, developing products that bring potential health benefits to the customers’ health. SGREEN HILL – Sweet from nature, a pure honey product “Jasmine flower flavor of Gia Lai” and “Kontum highland forest flavor”, launched in 2018 with the message Pure natural honey – Antibacterial mineral natural honey good for health, this is a product with high stability, characteristic aroma, positioned to honor those who contribute to making honey and will change the perception of consumers about the benefits of the precious honey supplement for health. This product is a type of cultural food with high indigenous value for people all over the world.

 

In the content of the cooperation agreement signed this time, the Faculty of Food Science and Technology is responsible for researching and transferring technology for the production of SGREEN’s pure honey product lines. The cooperation between the two is expected to provide the food and beverage market with products that not only are highly convenient for consumers but also have high nutritional value, helping to improve the health of consumers.
