Under the guidance & coach from R&D Director and Supervisor Patisserie
- Involve in the new product development and innovation of Patisserie SBU by:
o Developing new tailor made products or adapting existing ones under the guidance of R&D Supervisor Patisserie.
o Performing baking tests and evaluation of patisserie products according to well defined procedures, in an accurate, reproducible and efficient way.
o Preparing the baking report containing information about the used materials and methods, evaluation of batter/dough and baked product (observational, instrumental) and conclusions.
o Developing patisserie application using the newly developed product, to prove the feasibility of Puratos products to the customers.
o Giving technical advice on the product characteristics that need to be taken into account in the product development process. Advising on how the products are being used and how they can address the customers’ pain point.
o Communicating with the Head-quarter and Regional Office for regular updates on product guidelines and trends, and translating them toward the local market.
- Involve in the technical support and business development for semi and large industrial accounts by:
o Frequently visiting customers to maintain a strong relationship with their technical/R&D team.
o Inspiring customers with creative and differential finished goods taking into account the framework of an industrial production environment.
o Trouble shooting at customers to support them in solving issues in their daily production in a timely manner.
o Looking for relevant industrial equipment/process optimization that can be used to improve the customers’ effectiveness.
o Looking for possible cost reduction at customers using Puratos innovative solutions.
o Respecting the quality, food safety standards and confidentiality of our customers.
o Sharing high-end expertise with customers via presentations and seminars on Puratos products, technologies and solutions.
o Organizing and/or giving training sessions to customers.
o Participating in customer events (CID, …) in conjunction with Sales/Marketing/Technical.
o Identifying new business opportunities for patisserie products at customers.
o Turning new business opportunities into new products and sales, and implementing them on the customers’ production lines.
o Sharing insights on relevant finished goods, products that can be developed/implemented at the customers.
o Participating in strategic exercises to develop key account plans, in close collaboration with the key account managers.
- Involve in other duties assigned by the R&D Director, such as:
o Conducting internal training to Sales/Marketing/Technical team to help them build technical knowledge on Puratos products, technologies and solutions.
o Staying up to date on new technologies, machineries, equipment, trends and techniques and share among the internal business development team.
o Being responsible for the maintenance and good functioning of the lab equipment.
o Developing and maintaining a network of baking schools, industrial machinery manufacturers, and professional bakery organizations.
