On the afternoon of January 12th, 2024, the Faculty of Food Science and Technology (FST), Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) organized a seminar on research and orientation on the use of additives in new product development.

The additive is an important ingredient, greatly assisting in preservation, helping to increase the properties of food, and bringing many benefits to the health of the community. This seminar helps students understand the uses, characteristics, and properties of each specific additive group so that students can choose and gain useful knowledge during the process of writing their graduation thesis and thesis scientific research.

The participants that the topic wants to target are teams participating in the FID5 competition and students of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology who love to participate in scientific research and product development.

Exchange cooperation between the two units has created opportunities for students in the FST to meet, learn, exchange information with additive suppliers, and promote a proactive spirit in learning and research. Scientific, creative, and offers effective learning and research methods.
