ANNOUNCEMENT

About organizing 4 special subjects of Club of Food science and Industry (CĐ 26-29)

 

1. Time, place (estimated)

- Time: Saturday and Sunday 04,05/5/2018 (Morning: 8h00 – 11h00; Afternoon: 14h00 – 17h00).

- Place: Room B.302.

2. Special subjects belonging to group “Developing skills of report writing and presenting graduation thesis/projects, scientific researches”

Including four special subjects:

  • Speical subject 26: Developing report draft; instruction of information searching; managing and quoting references; Making table of content, list of tables, list of figures automatically.
  • Special subject 27: Instruction of writing parts: Introduction, study purpose,  materials and methods, study content in reports; writing reports for studies without experimental data (studies of quality system management; factory/workshop design...)
  • Special subject 28: Instruction of writing these parts: results and discussion, conclusion in reports (For study with experimental data).
  • Special subject 29: Instruction of designing report’s slide and presenting before the Council.

3. Participants and fee:

- Participants:

+ Students of Class 06ĐH that are doing graduation thesis/project.

+ Students of Class 16CDTP with interest.

+ Members of Club of Food science and Industry.

+ Students of Faculty of Food Science and Industry and other faculties with interest.

- Fee: Trainees can register for each special subject with following fee:

4. Registration procedure

- Registration for joining special subjets at Office of Faculty of Food Science and Industry from 19/4/2019 to 02/5/2019 (Morning: 7g-11g30; Afternoon: 13g30-17g, from Monday to Friday every week).

- At the day of special subject, trainees bring Receipt to get Card for special subject.

Special subject 26:

Developing report draft; instruction of searching information; managing and quoting references; managing table of content, list of tables, figures automatically.

1. Development and requirement of draft of graduation projects/projects, scientific research.

2. Instruction of building working plan.

3. Instruction of information and document searching – Application exercises.

4. Instruction of management, quoting references by Endnote – Application exercises

5. Instruction of presentation/formatting a report of graduation projects/projects (creating chapter titles, items, tables, figures, list of tables , list of figures, list of contents, appendix) – Application exercises.

Instruction of writing: Introduction, goal, material and method; writing reports for studies without experimental data (studies of quality system management, design...)

1. Determining study goal – Application exercises.  

2. Distinguising goal, study method, study content.

3. Instruction of writing Introduction of reports of khóa luận/đồ án.

4. Instruction of writing method, study content – Application exercises.

5. Writing reports for study without data (study of quality system management, design...)

Special subject 28:

Instruction of writing: results and discussion, conclusion. (For studies with experimental data)

1. Instruction of sorting data, methods of preseting and analyzinf experimental data.

2. Instruction of making remark, discussion, conclusion of results.

3. Instruction of writing results – Discussion and conclusion.

4. Application exercises.

Requirement: Trainees must prepare data source that need to be analyzed to work with trainer.

Special subject 29:

Instruction of making slides and presentation.

1. Contents of report of khóa luận/đồ án that need to be presented in front of the Council..

2. Principle of designing report slides.

3. Method of presenting, answering questions and notice.
