As part of the ongoing partnership between the Faculty of Food Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry (HUFI) and College of Science and Technology, Kyungpook National University (KNU), South Korea, the Faculty of Food Science and Technology is selecting 5 student representatives for an academic exchange program during the upcoming Spring 2019–2020 semester.
Program Benefits & Academic Information
- Course Credit: Students can enroll in up to 6 courses (equivalent to 18 credits) within the Study Programme of College of Science and Technology (KNU). These courses will be considered by the Faculty of Food Science and Technology (HUFI) as equivalents to courses in the current Study Programme.
- Tuition: Fully waived for the duration of the exchange program in South Korea.
- Accommodation & Expenses: KNU will assist with dormitory arrangements. However, students are responsible for their own day-to-day living expenses.
- Travel Support: HUFI and the Faculty of Food Science and Technology will fully cover round-trip airfare between Vietnam and South Korea.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a third- or fourth-year student who has completed core major courses.
- Hold a good to excellent academic record and have a strong passion for research in food science and technology.
- Proficient in general English communication and highly fluent in Technical English.
Application Process & Deadlines
- Quota: Maximum of 5 students per semester.

- Application Deadline: Before 9:00 AM on November 1, 2019.
- Interview Schedule: Applicants will undergo a face-to-face interview at the Faculty of Food Science and Technology office at 9:30 AM on November 1, 2019.
