Recently, on October 1, 2022 at Hall C, Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry the final round of the contest "Seeking the startup ideas in 2022" was held. This is a contest within the HUFI YOUNG LEADERS program which is held annually to find excellent ideas to develop and put into practice.

From 46 initial projects going through many rounds of selection for the final round, 12 teams have been named, of which the Faculty of Food Science and Technology is honored to have 4 teams entering the final round. Right from the beginning, the competition teams arranged their booth area in a professional manner. The jury consists of leaders of businesses and start-up organizations who came to each booth to experience and evaluate products. After being judged at the booth, each team will have 5 minutes to pitch the idea on the stage and 10 minutes to critique with the judges. The presentation and criticism took place very excitingly with many intriguing questions as well as valuable experiences from the judges to the teams.
At the end of the pitching contest of the teams, the jury worked very hard to choose the ideas worthy of the prize, in which 04 teams from the Faculty of Food Science and Technology excellently won 01 first prize, 01 second prize. and 02 consolation prizes including:

The total cash prize of the 3rd Seeking Startup Idea contest in 2022 is 50 million VND. In addition to the award of Top 12 projects in the final round, the university continued to cooperate with the Leader Network of innovation leaders. The Southern National Startup Support Advisory Council arranges a team of Mentors who are entrepreneurs to participate and advise projects within 12 months so that the projects continue to be completed asnd implemented into reality.
