On July 22, 2026, the representative from the Faculty of Food Science and Technology attended an official working session with the leadership from the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology at Silpakorn University (Thailand), including:

This meeting marks a significant milestone in expanding the Faculty of Food Science and Technology’s international cooperation network, focusing on key objectives:
- Extending an official invitation to young talents from Silpakorn University to participate in the Food Innovation & Development 2026 competition.
- Strengthening connections and engaging in in-depth discussions regarding joint training and research opportunities between the two faculties.
Thereby outlining a strategic vision to pave the way toward signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) and Silpakorn University in the near future.
