On the afternoon of January 10, 2026, at Hall C – Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT), the Scientific Seminar "Mycotoxins – Food Safety" 2025 themed "Spreading Knowledge – Raising Awareness – For Food Safety" took place in a formal yet vibrant atmosphere, attracting widespread interest from experts, businesses, and students.
The seminar was co-organized by the Faculty of Food Science and Technology – HUIT and the Ho Chi Minh City Association of the Society for Mycotoxin Research (HSSiV). The event saw the attendance of representatives from the HCMC Department of Science and Technology, the HCMC Department of Food Safety, university leadership, scientists, leading experts, businesses, and numerous students passionate about scientific research.
In the opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Nguyen Doan Duy emphasized the importance of controlling mycotoxins throughout the entire food chain. He also reaffirmed the pivotal role of connecting education, scientific research, and production practices to achieve sustainable food safety.
