Commendation Ceremony for Student Committees and Clubs of the Faculty of Food Technology for Outstanding Performance in the Academic Year 2024–2025 and Launch of the Academic Plan for 2025–2026

On July 2, 2025, at Hall C – Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, the Faculty of Food Science and Technology solemnly held the ceremony: “Commendation of Student Committees and Clubs for Outstanding Performance in the Academic Year 2024–2025 & Academic Plan for 2025–2026.”

The event served as an occasion to honor exceptional contributions and open a new chapter—where plans, orientations, and upcoming student initiatives will continue to ignite and spread the spirit of learning and creativity among FST students.

  2. Reveal of the 4th Traditional Festival of the Faculty of Food Technology – the biggest annual event, celebrating identity, knowledge, and connection among all FST students.

The Commendation Ceremony was not only a moment to recognize achievements but also a source of inspiration and motivation, encouraging every student to continue their journey of learning, dedication, and self-development in the years ahead.

Opening speech delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Nguyễn Đoan Duy – Dean of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology at the ceremony “Commendation of Student Committees and Clubs for Outstanding Performance in the Academic Year 2024–2025 & Academic Plan for 2025–2026.”

 

Dr. Châu Ngọc Mai – Secretary of the Youth Union of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology – announced the decision to award certificates to individuals who excellently completed their duties in the academic year 2024–2025.

 

The ceremony was honored with the presence of Dr. Nguyễn Văn Anh – Head of the Science and Food Technology Club; MSc. Liêu Mỹ Đông – Head of the Scientific Debate Club; and MSc. Lê Quỳnh Anh – Head of the Career Support Committee of the Faculty of Food Technology.

Commendation of dedicated individuals who made effective contributions to the Class Committee Work of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology during the academic year 2024–2025, helping to improve class management and promote academic and extracurricular activities.

 

Secretary Châu Ngọc Mai clarified the roles and responsibilities of class committees, and provided information on the reward and disciplinary mechanisms to enhance effectiveness, professionalism, and initiative in union-related work.

 

Comrade Hà Phạm Kim Tuyền, representing the Organizing Committee of the Green Summer Campaign 2025, presented the key points of this year’s plan and officially launched the fundraising activity to encourage volunteering spirit and support operational resources for the campaign teams.

 

Comrade Trần Đình Toàn Anh introduced the first information about the Freshmen Camp – Cohort K16, an event expected to connect generations of students and foster creativity, sharing, and unity within the Faculty of Food Science and Technology for the academic year 2025–2026.

 

Comrade Trần Khánh Linh officially launched the “Five-Excellent Student” movement for the new academic year, offering detailed guidance for participation across student groups, with the goal of promoting holistic development and building an exemplary student model.

 

Comrades Bùi Đặng Hồng Minh and Trần Trí Dũng presented key tasks of the Youth Union, including the upcoming Youth Awareness Class, guidance on the Youth Union Record Book, and the official regulation on discarding outdated record books for key classes as required.

 

Comrade Trần Khánh Linh introduced a special traditional activity held every four years – the 4th Traditional Festival of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology. This major event aims to strengthen connections among students across cohorts and foster strong bonds between students and lecturers.
