Organization of the final round – student Scientific Research Competition, Faculty of Food Science and Technology, academic year 2023–2024

1. Time and Venue

  • Time: 7:30 AM, April 14, 2024

  • Venue: Hall C (HT.C), Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade

2. Format of the Final Round
The Final Round will consist of two sessions:

• Poster Presentation Session (all teams):
Each team presents their poster to the Evaluation Committee.

  • Presentation time: up to 5 minutes/team.
    After this session, the judges will select 6 outstanding teams to proceed to the oral presentation round.

• Oral Presentation Session (Top 6 teams):
Teams present the full content of their research.

  • Presentation time: up to 10 minutes/team.

  • Followed by Q&A with the Evaluation Committee.

3. Participants

  • University representatives: Board of Rectors; functional departments;

  • Industry partners/enterprises (if any);

  • All lecturers of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology;

  • All students who passed the preliminary round;

  • Students from cohorts 11, 12, 13, and 14 (according to the list prepared by the organizers — approx. 300 students).

4. Dress Code

  • Contestants and participating students must wear the Faculty of Food Science and Technology uniform.

5. Requirements for Final-Round Teams
Teams must:

  • Revise their final report according to feedback from the preliminary judging panel;

  • Prepare the poster and PowerPoint presentation for the oral session;

  • Complete all required materials related to their research topic;

  • Submit all files to the Organizing Committee via the link below before April 4, 2024:
