Notice on the consideration of merit-based study scholarships – Faculty of Food Science and Technology (FST)

1. Purpose
To help FST students clearly understand the principles for awarding Merit-Based Study Scholarships each semester.

2. Eligible Students
Students of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology who meet the requirements stated in the University’s regulations on Merit-Based Study Scholarships.

3. Scholarship Evaluation Principles
Step 1: Based on the total scholarship quota allocated by the University for each cohort, the quota is distributed according to the number of classes within that cohort for the given semester.
Step 2: The quota is further divided among the academic majors of each cohort.
Step 3: Scholarships are awarded based on the list of eligible students provided by the Office of Student Affairs & Communication. Students are ranked from highest to lowest until the quota is filled. The evaluation criteria, in order of priority, include:

  • Scholarship classification
  • Semester GPA (10-point scale)
  • Semester conduct score

4. Scholarship Evaluation Timeline
As announced by the University each semester.

5. Rights and Responsibilities

  • Students are responsible for keeping track of announcements and providing timely feedback regarding scholarship consideration each semester.
  • Class monitors are responsible for reminding students to follow the instructions in the announcement.
