GROUPG ASIA PACIFIC AWARDED THE G’INNOVATION NEXT 2023 SCHOLARSHIP TO UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS OF HO CHI MINH CITY UNIVERSITY OF FOOD INDUSTRY

Recently, on June 26, 2023, GroupG Asia Pacific and Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry (HUFI) had an awarding ceremony to excellent undergraduates at Hall C, Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry. This is a follow-up activity of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) of comprehensive cooperation on creative innovation in 2022 and the commitment to take place annually with the ambition of developing young human resources in this major.

 

The scholarship awarding ceremony took place with the participation of the Board of Administrators, lecturers of Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry, and Board of Directors of GroupG Asia Pacific and more than 400 undergraduates. This was an event that has been expected for the past half year, remarking the beginning of comprehensive cooperation after signing an MoU between an enterprise concentrated on creative innovation and a leading application-oriented university, always pioneering in the field of science and food technology.

 

As for the Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry:

  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Hong Anh – Vice President of the university
  • MSc. Nguyen Thi Thao Minh – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology
  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thanh An – Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering

And the lecturers are the heads/deputies of the Faculties of the University, with representatives of research groups of the Ho Chi Minh City of Food Industry.

 

As for GroupG Asia Pacific:

  • Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Chi – Managing Director of the South
  • Mr. Truong Le Duy – Senior Sales Specialist

As for the guest side:

Ms. Tram Pham – CEO of Spice Marketing & Research Consultant

More specially, the most awaited and outstanding part of this year’s program is the Talkshow: “Output Thinking in Innovation” with an inspirational speaker – Ms. Tram Pham. She is currently the Founder & Executive of a Hands-on Social Enterprise with 22-year experience in New Product Development in FMCG, F&B, Personal Care & Agriculture as Marketing Head. Undergraduates were able to learn about creative and innovative modalities, practice running some new product development projects in corporations, and prepare for the difference between practical work and study. The sharing operation was exceedingly engaging and open, attracting many undergraduates with a spirit of active learning and interaction.

In the next stage, the scholarship was to award 10 undergraduates with excellent academic achievement, initiative participation in community and also creative activities at the Faculty of Food Science and Technology & Cosmetic Chemistry. Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Chi, Management Director of the South and Mr. Truong Le Duy, Senior Sales Specialist of GroupG Asia Pacific represented the program awarding scholarships to 10 undergraduates of the university.

Furthermore, the Innovation Hub of GroupG Asia Pacific did not forget to bring interesting things to the program with the RTD Fruit Tea beverage pavilion and display of Chemical Cosmetic products including 04 product groups: Air Care, Home Care, Fragrances, & Personal Care. Besides, the program also had some gifts which were 30 ml perfume bottles prepared by the Cosmetic Chemistry Lab of the enterprise and aimed at Gen Z audiences.
