Hands-on experience with the specialized workshop “Photography Technique Guidance” for collaborators and members of the fst media team

On the evening of September 27, 2024, the workshop “Photography Technique Guidance” took place in an energetic and enthusiastic atmosphere at Hall C – Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade.

To contribute to the success of this meaningful event, we sincerely thank Photographer Trịnh Bảo Xuyên for his passionate sharing and practical guidance throughout the workshop.

Representing the Faculty of Food Science and Technology, we were honored to welcome:

Dr. Châu Ngọc Mai – Lecturer, Head of the Media Team, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology
MSc. Liêu Mỹ Đông – Lecturer, Head of the Debate Club of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology

The workshop also welcomed members of the Faculty’s Media Team and students who are eager to learn modern photography techniques.

The workshop took place with great excitement and covered the following main topics:

1. Learning photography techniques
Students were introduced to famous photographers such as Sarah Moon, Paolo Roversi, and Peter Lindbergh, helping them understand how to perceive and appreciate photographic styles.

2. Understanding key photography terminology
Participants learned terms like snapshot, along with practical instructions on adjusting shooting positions to achieve proper lighting, sharpness, and intentional interaction during photography.

3. Experience sharing
Photographer Trịnh Bảo Xuyên shared valuable tips such as choosing appropriate equipment, recognizing types of lighting, arranging composition for optimal quality, and discovering websites that showcase high-quality photos for learning and inspiration.

4. Hands-on practice with the expert
After the theory session, students had the opportunity to practice directly under the photographer’s guidance and create their own uniquely styled photographs.

The Faculty of Food Science and Technology sincerely thanks Photographer Trịnh Bảo Xuyên for his impressive lecture and meaningful contributions, creating an opportunity for students to meet, learn, and exchange practical knowledge. The workshop helped students better understand modern photography methods and techniques.
