Welcome new students – cohort 15DH

The Faculty of Food Science and Technology warmly welcomes all new students of Cohort 15DH to the HUIT family!
From today, you begin a new journey—exploring food science, developing technical and management competencies, nurturing creativity and innovation, and building a strong professional foundation in a thriving industry.

The orientation sessions are the first opportunity for 15DH freshmen to meet the Faculty Board, program coordinators, and academic advisors.

FIRST STEPS FOR NEW STUDENTS

✔ Activate and check your student accounts

(HUIT email, learning portal, Wi-Fi access)

✔ Follow the “Orientation Week” schedule

posted on the Faculty website and fanpage, including:

  • Meeting the Faculty Board & Academic Advisors

  • Guidance on course registration, learning regulations, and graduation requirements

  • Introduction to academic clubs, research groups, volunteer teams, and event units

  • Familiarization with laboratories, the library, and self-study areas

Join your class/program groups and official announcement channels to stay updated.

Check your student email and the Faculty’s official channels regularly to avoid missing academic deadlines, practical class schedules, or special events.
